The Next Step Series is a set of four classes designed to help you enter into greater fellowship with the church and commitment in your walk with God. These classes give a foundation of who we are as a church, as well as equip you to carry out your mission. We encourage everyone to attend all four classes, whether you are a newcomer or have been a part of the church for a long time. The classes can be taken in any order, so please join us for our next class!

CHANGE: How God Brings Freedom

Next Class: Saturday, October 4, 9am - Noon

When we're honest, we see there are plenty of things about ourselves that we would like to change. At our church, we believe that true change requires following Jesus and that following Jesus requires true change. We'll discuss what the Bible says about gaining freedom from sin, receiving healing from past burdens, and maturing as a Christian. We'll also encourage you in some very practical ways and provide an opportunity for prayer ministry at the end.

GIFTS: Empowering you to Serve

Next Class: Saturday, November 1, 9am - Noon

God has given each of us a unique set of gifts. At the Vineyard, we believe that "everybody gets to play" - that God wants to use each of us (not just pastors) to serve and minister in His Kingdom. In this class, we'll help you to discover how God has carefully designed you and how the Holy Spirit can empower you in amazing ways to live out your specific calling and purpose.

MISSION: Our Purpose as a Community

Next Class: Saturday, December 6, 9am - Noon

Church is more than a Sunday service. At Vineyard, we believe God has a mission for us as a community. God wants us to be an active partner in His purposes for each other, the church, and the world around us. This class will explain our mission statement, discuss what life looks like in our church family, and talk about how you can be part of where God is taking us next

BELIEFS: Basics of the Vineyard

Next Class: February 2009

Everybody has a system of beliefs. Here at the Vineyard, our beliefs about spiritual things are the foundation for who we are and what we do. This class discusses what we believe about God, who Jesus is, and what it looks like to be part of God's Kingdom. We will also dive into some of the basics of what you'll see at the Vineyard on Sundays: worship, teaching, prayer ministry, communion, and baptism.
